Ty Holland is an award winning
Photographer and Photojournalist who
has been taking photographs since
1968, and has four Pulitzer Prize
submissions in the Feature
Photography category; 2008 B Troop
4th US Cavalry Regiment, 2009 Images
Of Cancer The Relay For Life, 2009 A
Few Days With Air Evac Services and
2010 Historical Soldier Relocation
Project. Ty's photography was also
recognized by the U.S. Congress in
2009 for his excellent photo
coverage of the Historical Soldiers
Relocation Project in southern
Arizona.
Ty and his wife Sheila own
Photography By Ty, a business
located in Sierra Vista, Arizona.
They offer a complete spectrum of
services including both studio and
location photography and are fully
bonded, licensed and insured. Their
photography includes; Action Sports,
Event, Fashion, Model, Portrait,
Wedding, Documentary, Equestrian,
Remote Controlled, Virtual Tour,
Panoramic and Gigapixal. A large
studio features both traditional
strobe and continuous fluorescent
lighting, along with large monitors
for client viewing during the
photography shoot. The studio is
also wheelchair accessible. Also the
business offers all levels of
photography workshops. Photography
By Ty takes on average 10,000
photographs a month and can
digitally process up to 2,500 images
an hour. Ty is also certified
through Adobe on the use of
Photoshop. An on-line store is also
available for event and sports
photography clients with over 45
products available for purchase. The
business also supports over 24 local
charities and civic groups.
Due to a very busy photography
schedule, the business does not
